With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob D. Slough (Cortez, Colorado), born in Dawson, Texas, who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Bob's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard D. Slough and Thekla Ida Martha Slough (Huse); and his wife Twila Jean Hall. He is survived by : his children, Robin Walcott of Mancos, Stephanie Slough of Mancos and Chris Slough (Yvonne) of Frankfurt, Germany; his grandchildren, Ben Walcott (Sensa) of Mancos and Erin Walcott of Mancos; and his great grandchildren, Aurelia Walcott and Annabel Walcott of Mancos.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ertel Funeral Home (42 N Market St, Cortez, CO 81321).
