We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 97, Iona Fay Saunders of Oxford, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Minnie Elvira (Nelson) and Milton Ross Leeman; her husband Sergeant Major Sanford Saunders; her siblings, Leitha Eliason (Leeman), Myrna Saunders (Leeman), Lyle Leeman, Mark Leeman, Bernard Leeman and Bill Leeman; her daughter Bonita Glasoe (Saunders); and her grandson Stuart Tyler Saunders.
She is survived by : her sisters, Shirley Long (Leeman) of Dublin and Inez Messer (Leeman) of Minnetonka, Minnesota; her children, Sandi Oman (Doug) of The Villages, Ric Saunders of Fergus Falls and Trudy Saunders (Will Buttner) of Portland, Oregon; and her stepchildren, Dean Danielson, Debbie Kinneberg and Bonnie Anderson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
