She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Symons and Walter Symons; and her son Michael Dunn. She is survived by : her sister Gaynol Symons Marsh; her husband John Dunn; and her daughters, Shelley Placito Leaser, Penny Metoxen and Lisa Dunn [Bemski]. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charitable donations may be made in LaVeta's name to the VITAS Hospice, Mt. Dora, Florida.
