He is survived by : his daughter Marsha Elaine Grubbs of Pensacola; his grandson Jerry Steven Kirby, II (Shawna) of Orange Beach, AL; his great grandchildren, Grant of Orange Beach, AL, Bradie of Orange Beach, AL, Julia of Orange Beach, AL and Natalie Kirby of Orange Beach, AL; and his nephew Lawrence Grubbs.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
