As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Harold Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Watkins and Hular Baker Watkins; his children, Dwight Watkins and Vickie Westmoreland; and his grandson Jude Pritchett.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Ann Meeks Watkins of Homer; his children, Teresa Kesler of Nicholson, Bobby Watkins of Lula, Wyman Watkins of Carnesville, Courtney Watkins of Homer and Jeffery Watkins of Homer; and his sister Barbara Purcell of Newnan. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Little-Ward Funeral Home (115 State St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery (2405 GA-51, Lula, GA 30554).
