He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Monte Las; his wife Sue Hamilton; his sons, Andrew Lamfers (Tammie) of Davenport and Noah Lamfers (Megan) of Waukee, Iowa; his twin-grandchildrens, Knox and Brinleigh Lamfers; his mother Margaret Lamfers (Schierholt) of Ashton, Iowa; and his siblings, Lisa Huff (Lyle) of Ashton, Kim Poeckes (Kevin) of Sheldon, Iowa and Keith Lamfers (Joni) of Ames, Iowa.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for donations to Princeton community facilities and organizations.
