He was predeceased by : his parents, Merlyn "Pat" Folger and Gertrude Catherine Folger; his wife Patricia "Trisha" Brown; and his brother Ronald Folger. He is survived by : his children, Benjamin Folger (Julie) of Mt. Airy, MD and Laura Homewood (Chad) of Cedar Falls, IA; his grandchildren, Alanna Folger, Sydney and Carter Homewood; and his sisters, Judy and Patricia Folger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at the American Legion Post #6 (1306 Delhi St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the University of Northern Iowa Dementia Simulation House.
