With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Angell Rowell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 10, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Roberta Angell find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Brott and Mary Georgianna Brott (Drehouse); her husband Richard Angell; her daughter Linda Hansel (Lynn); and her close friend Vivian Northrup.

She is survived by : her children, Tina Angell of Mechanicsville, Richard Angell Jr. of Solon and Keith Angell (Rachelle) of Marion; and her sister Georgia Dick (Steve) of Bolivar. She is also survived by nine grandsons and one favorite (only) granddaughter; sixteen great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Linwood Cemetery (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
