We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2023, at the age of 70, Steven D. Ness in Moscow, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Steven's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by : his father Darwin Ness; his wife Sheila; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Ness. He is survived by : his mother Dolores Bossen Ness (Dee) of Watertown, SD; his siblings, Valoree Ness (James Gross) of Maple Grove, MN and Ferrand Ness (Chip) of Middlegrove, NY; his niece Brandy Lant (Jason); his great-nephews, Jack and Garrett; his nephew Eric Ness of Saratoga Springs, NY; and his aunt Bonnie Bossen Vrondran of Vienna, SD.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
