He is survived by : his siblings, Horace and Joyce; his wife Evelyn "Carole" Torrence; his children, Connie Renee Boyd of Clarinda, Iowa and Craig Edwin Boyd (Deborah) of Dumas, Texas; his grandchildren, Crystal Gaunt (Mike) of Red Oak, Iowa, Justin and Nathan (Delyn); his great grandchildren, Aurora, Stark and Kalysa Boyd of Dumas, Texas; his former life partner E. Carole Boyd (Amy O. Fulton) of Corpus; and his son-in-law Tracy Cowen (Kim) of Red Oak, Iowa..

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pioneer Park.
