With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta J. Schwartz (Clinton, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Roberta farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Roberta is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Petersen and Hilda Petersen (Boothby); and her son-in-law Gary. She is survived by : her husband Donald Schwartz of Clinton, IA; her children, Donald Schwartz Jr. (Sherri) of Clinton, IA, Cindy Carlsen of Rock Falls, IL and Tracy Neas (Eric) of Morrison, IL; and her siblings, Loretta Shelly, Robert Petersen (Marilyn) and Ted Petersen (Elsa). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
