We bid farewell to Vern R. Larson of Clinton, Iowa, born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 13, 2024 at the age of 90. Vern touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Vern farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vern is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Garold P. Larson and Esther Larson (Johnsen); and his sisters, Geraldine Fish and Lorrayne Leeder. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Kuehner; his children, Dr. Earl Larson of Jacksonville, FL and Dea Larson of Clinton; and his granddaughter Brooke Larson of Clinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (715 S 3rd St, Clinton, IA 52732).

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Clinton Fire Department, or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
