He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Haupert and Crystal Haupert; his sister Jean; and his son Paul. He is survived by : his wife Marianne Bray; his siblings, Frank and Angie Wemmer; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Bray; and his children, Mike (Mary Ellen), Amy Oles (Mark), Lisa Lewis (Rick), Jenny, Ann Schnasse (Nestor) and David. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and 17 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a Carl Haupert Memorial Fund has been established.
