We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2022, at the age of 96, Maurice P. Niemer of Dubuque, Iowa, born in Cassville, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Niemer and Mathilda "Maude" Niemer (McNamara); his son Timothy Niemer; and his siblings, Dorthea, Tom, John, Kathleen, Margaret, Mary Lou, Jim and Ann.

He is survived by : his wife Judith Kerper (Church) of Dubuque, IA; his sons, Kevin Niemer (Ellen) of Dubuque, IA, Patrick Niemer (Amy) of Asbury, IA, Gene Niemer (Kristi) of Manchester, IA and Doug Niemer (Jenny) of Victoria, MN; and his grandchildren, Ben, Stephanie, Megan, Kalee, Colin, Jeff, Noah, Sophia, Emma and John.
