He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Wendel and Ida Wendel; his son Todd; and his siblings, Jim, Emil and Katherine Henshaw.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Wendel; his daughter Anne Winter; his grandsons, Austin Winter (Rachel) and Alex Winter; and his sisters, Dolores Benedix and Joann Leach (Joe). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
