We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2024, at the age of 69, Tanya Josette Marks of Indianola, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Nehring and Edna Nehring. She is survived by : her husband Dennis Marks; her children, Charlee Marks and Kiel Marks; her grandchildren, Bella, Grace, Olivia, Lilly, Anthony and Noah; and her siblings, Georgiana Ames (John), Judy Barger (Greg), Fred Nehring (Shirley), Randy Nehring (Joyce), Loni Crews and Jace Nehring (Tracy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gathering Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125).

Memorials, in memory of Tanya, may be given to a charity of your choice.
