She was loved and cherished by many people including : her former life partner Joe Shields; her husband Dr. Dale Ferguson; her children, Jack Shields (Sue) and Jodi Galloway (Travis); her stepchildren, Cynthia Charger (Harry), Jennifer Winslow (Tony), Melissa Ferguson (Renee Ticao) and Scott Ferguson (Ann); her grandchildren, Sara, Julia, Jace, Jackson Shields, Katie Knake (Austin), Kaleb Galloway (Kacee), Kassidee Galloway, Joseph Winslow, Baile Stephenson (Jack), Michael Winslow, Ethan Ticao and Danielle Ticao; her great-grandparents, Gigi, Kaydence Knake, Boe Galloway, Paisley, Oaklee Tenley, Zion and Beckett Stephenson; and her siblings, Tom Strong (Retta) and Renee Anderson (Conrad).

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fry Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Tipton, IA 52772). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 17th 2024.
