With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin P. Hershberger of Jesup, Iowa, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Gnagy Hershberger and Frances Henrietta Hershberger (Ehr); and his siblings, Donna Hershberger and Merle Hershberger. He is survived by : his siblings, Roger Hershberger (Kathleen) of Jesup and JoAnn Seliger (Kenneth) of Jesup; his sister-in-law Barbara Hershberger of Jesup; and his nieces and nephews, Derek Seliger (Alanza Lake Hererra), Travis Seliger (Dora), Jared Seliger (Miranda), Seth Seliger, Alicia Peterson (Matt), Paul Seliger (Sarah), Brian Hershberger (Natalie), Shelley Hershberger and Brett Hershberger.

A rosary was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the White Funeral Home (1315 Main St, Jesup, IA 50648). Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Athanasius Catholic Church (635 Stevens St, Jesup, IA 50648).

Memorials will be directed to the tuition assistance programs at both Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville, IA, and St. Athanasius School in Jesup, also to Cedar Valley Hospice.
