He is survived by : his children, Matt Patten (Bonnie) of Omaha, NE and Melissa Halverson (Garrett) of Alta, Iowa; his fiancée Gloria Palmer of Middletown; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Micah and Silas; his siblings, Edwin, Sheryl and Jerry; his children, Michael, Angela, Brian and Jamie; his grandchildren, Allie, Braden and Caitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Paisley and Phoebe.

A committal service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fulton - Cairo Cemetery.
