She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Hites and Minnie Hites (Fick); her husband Robert Goettsch; her son William T. Goettsch; her brother Kenneth Hites (Edna); and her sister-in-law Laura Chastain (Ted).

She is survived by : her daughter Lynn Ann Brase (Stephen) of Plainfield; her daughter-in-law Lynn Munyer Goettsch of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Greg Brase (Brittany) of Waverly, Todd Brase of Waverly and Jody Neuhaus (Jeremy) of Anamosa; and her great grandchildren, Jaiden, Brianna and Reise Neuhaus.
