She is survived by : her husband Robert Wessel; her siblings, Susan Wyma (George), Marian Thomas and James D. Weaver; her parents, Benjamin Weaver and Violet Weaver; and her sister-in-law Susan Lindau.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burbank Seventh Day Adventist Church (8351 New Castle Ave, Burbank, IL 60459). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
