We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2022, at the age of 89, Robert A Burgmeier of East Dubuque, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert A Burgmeier to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alphonse Burgmeier and Frances Burgmeier; and his siblings, Jim Burgmeier (Joanne), Joseph Burgmeier, Jack Burgmeier (Pat) and Marilyn Muir.

He is survived by : his wife Mary R. Schnee Burgmeier; his children, Debra Schiesl (Joseph), Robert Burgmeier (Carol), David Burgmeier (Rose Ann), Daniel Burgmeier (Mary), Jane Dowd (David), Paul Burgmeier (Shauna), Julie Burgmeier (Robert Lutgen) and Lisa Herber (Greg); and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Burgmeier (Marlene) and Carol Dolan. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 37 (plus one on the way) great-grandchildren.

Masks are recommended at both gatherings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be given in honor of Robert A. Burgmeier to Hospice of Dubuque, Dubuque Boys and Girls Club, East Dubuque Area Ambulance, or Clarity Clinic of Dubuque.
