He was predeceased by : his parents, Delbert Holtz and Ruth Holtz (Kappler); his son Todd Douglas Holtz; and his sister Sandra (Sye Malins). He is survived by : his wife Anita; his nephews, Stefan (Roa Malins) and Andzej Malins; and his great-nieces, Jasmine and CJ Malins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Parish - St. James (710 Columbus Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial donations to Heart to Heart Hospice, 4438 Oak Bridge Dr., Flint Michigan 48532; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana.
