She was predeceased by : her parents, William McFarlane and Elizabeth McFarlane (Laverdure); and her sister Marjorie Klerr. She is survived by : her husband Jim Thul; her children, Mary Ann Mackall (Donald) and Bob Thul (Tricia) of Belt; her brother Osborne "Chuck" McFarlane; and her grandchildren, Kelly Morse and Kristopher Thul.
