It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Murray of Kearny, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Fresco and Anthony Fresco; and her sisters, Veronica Maresca and Marie Mongelli. She is survived by : her husband Edward L. Murray; her children, Kim Leto (Joseph) and Keith Murray (Michele); her grandchildren, Tristan Leto, Gianna Murray and Makayla Murray; and her sister Genevieve Healy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home (585 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Church (141 Washington Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032).
