He was predeceased by: his spouse Angiolina; his siblings, Giuseppe (Adelina), Sebastiano (Carmela), Marietta (Palmerino) and Adelmo; and his siblings-in-law, Serafina (Marino) and Domenic.

He is survived by: his children, Tony (Oliva) and Cristina (Tony Chiarelli); his grandchildren, Sonya (Eric Hewett), Anthony Chiarelli and Angela Chiarelli; and his sisters-in-law, Ginetta Sabelli and Elisira Sabelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (10300 Bd Pie-IX, Montréal-Nord, QC H1H3Z1). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Église Notre-Dame-De-La-Défense (6800 Av. Henri-Julien, Montréal, QC H2S2V4).
