She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Mekelburg (Randy) of Longmont, Colorado; her granddaughters, Emma, Betty and Piper; her sister Laura Sterling; her daughter Cheryl; and her sisters, Sandra Weicker (Dave) and June Sterling. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
To honor her memory, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation of Canada as well as The Pulmonary Hypertension association of Canada.
