James Thomson Obituary
The passing of James Thomson in Acme, Alberta, born in Olds, Alberta leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim and Merlene (Olds); his wife Merlene Virginia Thomson; his son Jason Dean Thomson; his granddaughter Melissa Miracle Thomson; his sisters, Dian Layton and Mary Deisman; his nephew Daniel Corrie; Wylie and Helen Thomson.
He is survived by: his sons, Brad Thomson (Jodi) and Jeff Thomson (Jess); his grandsons, Zach, Josh and Ethan; and his siblings, Florence Thomson and Brian Thomson (Connie). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #105 (5241 46 St, Olds, AB T4H1B8).
