He is survived by : his parents, Joseph Young and Jean Young (Bradley); his former life partner Kim Mulley; his wife Kimberlee; his son Marc; his siblings, Nicole Whitty (John) and Robert Young (Sherri); and his sisters-in-law, Marlene McLean, Irene Hill and Colleen Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Airdrie United Church Building Development, 212 – 1 Avenue NE, Airdrie, Alberta, T4B 0R4.
