He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Merritt and Mabelle Merritt; and his sisters, Audrey and Sheila. He is survived by : his siblings, Brian (Doreen), Don (June), Sylvia and Elsie; his children, Tara, Jack (Belinda) and Kyle (Lisa); his grandchildren, Robyn (Troy), Jason (Kim), Naomi (James), Samantha (Jason) and Marcel; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Brittany, Brooklyn, Taryn, Jason, Nick, Austin and Anthony.
