She was predeceased by: her grandfather Harry. She is survived by: her pet Mika; her husband Adam Carter; her children, Vance and Zara; her parents, Pete and Annette; her siblings, Jonathan and Nicole (Dawson Cooper); her parents-in-law, Helen and Stan Carter of Meath Park, Saskatchewan; her sisters-in-law, Heather (Doug) and Crystal; and her grandparents, Paul, Frances Bogner of Berwyn, Alberta and Tina. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a Private Funeral Celebrating Melody's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
