He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Proskow and Mary Proskow (Sherbaniuk); and his siblings, Stella, Helen, Fred, Peter, Paul, Tony, Ray, Olga Peebles (Ray) and Judy Wynnyk (John).

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Deborah, Sharon Clarke (Ian) and Darrol; his grandson Warren Morris Joseph Proskow; his sister-in-law Shirley; and his sibling's children, Irene, Gene, Doug, Cathy, Lee, Michael (Candace Robartz), Bev Henriksen (Ron), Tracy Zavadil (Peter), Bonnie Peebles and Corrine Wynnyk.
