He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Herzog and Robert Herzog (Bob); and his nephew Jordan Larkam. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Grant (Maria), Jeffrey (Jordan), Kaylin (Braeden) and Ashlyn (Quinten); his stepchildren, Melissa (Andrew) and Rob (Mackenzie); his grandchildren, Palmer, Reese and Millie; his sisters, Janet, Susan (Ralph) and Jennifer (Tom); and also Henry.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to D.O.R.V.A. (Drumheller Off-Road Vehicle Association) a not-for-profit organization, Airdrie Bethany (Recreation Aspen Unit) or the charity of one's choice.
