She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; her daughter Dianne; and her son-in-law Bill Robinson. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law Garry Swainson; her grandchildren, Christie Swainson Rose (Dale), Kara Swainson Stang (Thomas), Trent Swainson (Darla), Vernon McMahon (Corrine) and Vicki McMahon; and her children, Greg Robinson (Sara), Stewart, Adam, Emily Robinson, Abigail Robinson, Ava Stang, Hudson Stang, Aynsley Swainson, Hunter Swainson and Lochlan Swainson.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held.

“It is sad saying goodbye to a fine lady that was one of my mothers (Etta Huse) best friends. I remember Ruth rehearsing songs for a lot of events with Etta , the two of them enjoying the work. Ruth's stories over coffee could make you laugh or cry with most of the cry caused by laughter. My sister Muriel ( passed Apr.20/21) purchased Lady and colt Pablo from Ruth when her and Lloyd moved to town ..... a fine horse that Ruth had trained. Condolences to Debbie and family. Gene Huse”
