He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Ewanchuk and Mary Ewanchuk; and his brother-in-law Byron Mann. He is survived by: his siblings, Ted (Judi), June Mann and Cindy Kudryk (Richard); his siblings' children, Aubrey McCully (John), Gregory Mann (Yuliya), Scott Kudryk (Shennah) and Rok Sivante; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Danil, Paul, Steven, Victor, Sasha, Violet, Skyla and Vaughn. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
