Allan Purdy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan Purdy of Athabasca, Alberta, born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Purdy and Bill Purdy; his son Christopher Henry Purdy; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Purdy and Peter Yowney.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Koss of St. Paul and Chris David Purdy of Whitehorse; his grandchildren, Myshannah Koss (Sean Dolan), Dorian Koss and Ezekiel Purdy; his great grandchildren, Abigail and Finn Dolan; his siblings, Arthur Purdy (Marie), Ken (Gayle) and Carol Yowney; and his aunts, Alma Butters and Maureen Webber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
