He was predeceased by : his parents, Metro and Mary; his sister Sadie; and his brothers-in-law, Andrew and Ken.

He is survived by : his siblings, Dwayne (Jackie), Joyce and Marion (Henry); his children, Dallas (Jennifer) and Kimberley (Alan); his grandson Seth; his stepgrandchild Skye; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava and Ivy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
