It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Chernish of Athabasca, Alberta, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, George Cooke and Martha Cooke; her sister Marion; her husband Bill Chernish; and her children, Linda (Gerry) of Bonnyville, Delilah (Gord) of Edmonton, Calvin (Theresa) and Dwight (Tracy) of Athabasca. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Lodge in Athabasca.
