Though Connie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Connie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys McLeod; and her sister Marlene. She is survived by: her father Harvey McLeod; her husband Hugo; her daughters, Amanda (Steve) and Loretta (Kevin); her granddaughter Eleanor; and her sisters, Dianne, Bette and Myrna (Greg). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Athabasca Community Chapel (3403 48 Ave, Athabasca, AB T9S1M7).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS society of Canada are welcome.
