With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Woytovicz (Athabasca, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Woytovicz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Rubik and Nadia Rubik; her husband Alex Woytovicz; her daughter Cathy; and her siblings, Mary, Sofia, Vera, Nina and Nick.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Niel Van Hout of Athabasca, Greg, Marcia Woytovicz of Athabasca, John Haub of Athabasca, Susan and Duane Haub of Calgary; and her sisters-in-law, Vicky Rubik and Verna Woytovich.
A prayer was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Athabasca Community Chapel (3403 48 Ave, Athabasca, AB T9S1M7). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Athabasca Auxiliary Hospital or to a charity of one's choice in Dorothy's memory.
