He was predeceased by: his parents, Tadeus Zachkewich and Jean Broton; his stepfather John Broton; his siblings, Tony Zachkewich and Mary Pylypiuk; and his parents-in-law, Leonide and Jean Plamondon.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his son Karl (Carole); his grandsons, Mark and Tanner Zachkewich; his son Ken (Lorrie); his granddaughters, Keira Warkentin (Levi) and McKenna Zachkewich; and his sisters-in-law, Stella Zachkewich and Connie Pysyk (Dennis).
