He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his daughter Shanly Cayer (Adam); his daughter-in-law Janet McDermid; his brother Lyle McDermid (Lindi); his grandchildren, Jorja, Emily, Shelby and Garrison; and his great grandchild Shaun Vlodarchyk (Amy).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Road to Hope and/or Riverside Compassion House.
