It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Young (Athabasca, Alberta), who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Tillie; his parents, Murray Young and Evangeline Young; and his siblings, Keith, Dawson, Errol, Anita and Norma.
He is survived by : his children, Don of Calahoo and Janice (Dick Brown) of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Alyssa Young (Levi Stone), Matthew Young (Sarah) and Sarah Young; his great grandchildren, Cole of Spruce Grove, Jase of Spruce Grove, Benson of Spruce Grove, Alexander of Spruce Grove and Lillian of Spruce Grove; his sister Denise Edmonds (Kim) of Fergus, ON; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Young of Rosetown, SK, Barbara Young of Regina, SK and Alex Labouski of Edmonton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
