He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Waschuk and Violet Waschuk; and his siblings, Lavina Chernish, Alexandra Byrtus, Mary Nelson, Tom Waschuk, John Waschuk and Sam Waschuk.

He is survived by : his brother William Waschuk (Agnes). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
