He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Levina; and his brothers, Mert and George. He is survived by: his sisters, Carollyne Robertson, Jean Chernish (Calvin Gill) and Suzanne Dorosiewicz (John); his children, Stephanie Chernish and Jessie Jones; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ben and Ryker.
