He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie; his parents, Gordon Willsie and Jennie Willsie; his in-laws, William and Annie Nalesnik; and his brothers-in-law, Walter, Henry and Richard.
He is survived by: his sons, Dean (Melanie) and Keith; his granddaughter Nicole (Finn); his sisters, Helen Skolarchuk, Laura Oatway (Jack), Ruth Lisowec, Marie Rusk (Patrick) and Nora Nykipilo (Jim); and his in-laws, Violet, Nick, Tim, Bonnie and Arlene. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Athabasca Community Chapel, Athabasca, Alberta (3403 48 Ave, Athabasca, AB T9S 1M7). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Colinton Community Hall, Colinton, Alberta.
Memorial donations in Larry's name may be made to the Athabasca Healthcare Centre Auxiliary Association.
