Myrtle Ruth Lacombe Obituary
The memory of Myrtle Ruth Lacombe (Athabasca, Alberta), who passed away on April 24, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Iver Swedgan and Hjordis Swedgan; her husband Norman George Lacombe; and her daughter Sharon Walbourne (Charlie). She is survived by: her children, Greg, Neil (Brenda), Norris, Grant (Tammy), Samantha Giroux (Ken) and Garth (April); and her caregivers, Cassidy, Brandy and Desiree. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Ecumenical Church (508 7 St SE, Slave Lake, AB T0G2A3).
