We announce the death of Rosie (Bahry) Guay (Athabasca, Alberta), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Lucien Guay (Harland Johnston); her daughter-in-law Wendy Guay; and her grandson Marc Darichuk. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Darichuk (Gerry), Brenda Bortnick (Gordon), Keith Guay, David Guay (Rhonda) and Kerri. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (5303 49 Ave, Athabasca, AB T9S1L1).
Memorial donations in the name of Rosie Guay may be made to the Athabasca Lions Club.
