Rudolph Wiselka Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Rudolph Wiselka (Athabasca, Alberta) is shared. Rudolph, born on March 15, 1938, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Wiselka and Mary Wiselka; his wife Anne Wiselka; his children, Tracey and Wayne; his grandson Adam Stychin; and his siblings, Emira, Rosie, Elsie and George Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Angela Stychin; his son-in-law Terry Stychin of St. Albert; his grandchildren, Taylor Earle (Nick), Justin Stychin and Mark Stychin; his son Gary Ward; his daughter-in-law Sandra Ward of Ontario; his siblings, Chester Wiselka (Jeannie) of Athabasca, Shirley Brooks (Wilf) and Sylvia Herbert (Dave) of Sherwood Park; and his friend Frank Rojowski. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Athabasca Community Chapel (3403 48 Ave, Athabasca, AB T9S1P3). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Athabasca Missionary Church (4008 50 Ave, Athabasca, AB T9S1M2).

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that donations be made to the Athabasca Healthcare Centre Auxiliary Association or Road to Hope in Rudy's memory.
