The passing of Sally Pysyk (Athabasca, Alberta) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her siblings, Walter Tostyniuk and Eugenea Shermata; and her brother-in-law Larry Smith. She is survived by: her children, Dianna Coverly (Terry), Dwayne Pysyk (Amy), Donnie Pysyk (Gladys Katan) and Lori Klingbeil (Roy); her grandchildren, Shaunna Coverly (Peter Borland), Lee-Ann Coverly, Angela Pysyk, Pamela Durdle (Craig), Jennifer Marcoux (Jason), Lesley Pysyk, Salena Havens (Austin), Johnathon Pysyk (Savannah) and Brydon Klingbeil; her great grandchildren, Amy Verschoor, Alyssa Verschoor (Ryelee Buchanan), Spencer Durdle, Heidi and Cash Marcoux; her great great grandchild Madison Buchanan; her sister Melvina Ozipko (Ken); and her sisters-in-law, Olga Smith and Kay Tostyniuk. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prosvita Hall. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Sally's name to the Athabasca & District Senior Citizens Society, 4810-48th Street Athabasca, Alberta T9S 1V8.
